NLS Arbitration Moot - 2011
The NLS International Arbitration Moot has consistently attracted participation from all corners of the country and beyond since its inception in 2008.
The moot has been associated with and sponsored by Clifford Chance LLP, a premier legal organization with offices around the world. Arbitrators in the past years have included past and present Judges of the Indian Supreme Court, eminent members of the bar, and leading experts from the biggest law firms in India.

LEX NOVITAS - VMS Law College, Goa
The annual festival of V M Salgaonkar law college is back and this time, as usual, with three different (yet similar) events.
The dates of this year's fest are 20th-23rd Jan, 2011 and the events are:
1. GETTING YES (Negotiation Competition) - 21st Jan
2. LEND A LAWYER (Client Counselling Competition) - 22nd Jan
3. AD-LIB MOOT (Moot Court Competition) - 23rd Jan
Last date of registration is 3rd January, 2011.
The team shall consist of maximum FOUR participants and it is compulsory to take part in all the events.

XIV Adv. T.S. Venketswara Iyer Memorial All India Moot Court Competition
It is one of the oldest and prestigious moots of southern India. The dates for 2011 Moot are 20-22nd Jan, 2011 at Government Law College, Ernakulam.
The Moot Problem is based on Surrogacy Laws and Constitution Law.

CALL FOR PAPERS: Amity Law School Student Journal - Special Focus on PIL
The Student Journal Society of Amity Law School, Delhi is starting a bi-annual student-edited, peer-reviewed law journal titled “THE ALSD STUDENT JOURNAL”.
The journal aims to cater to the needs of the legal fraternity by providing inter-disciplinary knowledge on legal issues. The student reviewed journal will focus on contemporary legal issues submitted by students and shall also feature guest articles by eminent scholars. The journal shall be multi-disciplinary in approach with certain space dedicated to a specific law discipline for each volume.
The journal welcomes submissions for Volume I Issue I to be released in April 2011.
Please note that:
1.The issue will be multi-disciplinary with a special focus on “Public International Law”.
2. Manuscripts can be in the form of articles, essays, notes and case comments and can be co-authored by a maximum of two authors.
3. The last date for submission is February 28, 2011.
4. All manuscripts must be emailed to alsdjournal@gmail.com with the subject marked as “SUBMISSION FOR THE ALSD STUDENT JOURNAL”.
